Monitoring Functions
• Real-time collection and display of room temperature and humidity parameters, which serve as reference indicators for temperature and humidity regulation.
• Real-time monitoring of fan operation status and fault status.
• Monitoring of air pressure difference across the fan.
• Accumulated unit operating hours and maintenance reminder function.
• Fire protection signal monitoring: real-time monitoring of fire alarm signals from the fire control center; the fan will stop running in case of abnormal conditions.
• All the above operating parameters, working status and fault alarm signals are collected and processed by the local controller and participate in program control.
Safety Protection Functions
The following protection functions can be realized through the local control cabinet with associated peripheral equipment and software logic:
• Fire protection interlock: When the controller receives a fire signal from the fire control room, the unit shuts down immediately and an alarm is activated.
• Air failure protection: Differential pressure switches for air failure protection are installed before and after the supply fan. If the air failure differential pressure switch is not closed, the chilled water coil and electric heater shall not be energized. If the switch remains open 1 minute after startup, an air failure fault alarm will be issued.
• Shutdown delay: When the air conditioning system is turned off, the cooling coil, heater and humidifier are shut down first; the supply fan stops after a 3-minute delay to remove residual heat and moisture inside the unit.
• Electric heater over-temperature alarm: Activates over-temperature alarm indication and shuts down the electric heater.
• Emergency bypass control function: When the inverter equipped in the control cabinet malfunctions, the control cabinet provides an emergency bypass function to ensure continuous operation. By switching the selector to “fixed-frequency” mode, the unit can run normally without passing through the inverter, meeting operational requirements.
• Electrical safety protection: To ensure safe and reliable operation, the control cabinet provides the following protection functions: inverter protection against phase loss, phase reversal and motor overload; power supply, operation and overload alarm indications; remote/local control switching function.
Control Functions
• Unit start/stop control
- The unit can be started and stopped via the touch panel on the local control cabinet.• Constant temperature and humidity control
- According to the deviation between actual and set values of room temperature and humidity, the system calculates the demand for heating, cooling and dehumidification, and regulates the chilled water valve and electric heater to achieve constant temperature and humidity control in summer and constant temperature control in winter, with humidity display.
- Automatic identification and control of system dehumidification mode, effectively preventing unstable temperature and humidity caused by mismatched cooling and heating sources.
- Adopts self-programmed improved bipolar PID algorithm, eliminating the energy-wasting offset between heating and cooling that often occurs in traditional unipolar PID within the dead zone.
- Applies advanced algorithms including integral separation, anti-integral windup and split-range control to achieve high-precision constant temperature and humidity.• Control of various safety protection functions (refer to “Safety Protection Functions” above)• System hardware fault self-diagnosis and display• Setting and modification of air conditioning system control parameters• Manual/auto switching of unit start/stop control mode
